You may currently be receiving emails suggesting that UPS or another parcel company have attempted a delivery to your home, and unfortunately you were out. Be very careful of these emails as they may be a scam...

UPS have attempted a delivery to your home

There is a recent spate of emails claiming to be from UPS where they say they have tried to deliver a parcel to you and you now need to open this email and respond.

THIS IS A SCAM

The email may look something like this.

Subject: UPS Tracking Number 40598566674

Unfortunately we were not able to deliver postal package you sent on July the
1st in time because the recipient's address is not correct. Please print out the
invoice copy attached and collect the package at our office.
------------------------------------------------------------

These emails have a .zip file attached, which contains a .exe file which is a
trojan or virus. Usually these are stopped by the virus scanner on the email
system, however sometimes they can make sometimes get through to your inbox.

DO NOT OPEN the .zip file - delete the email immediately.
