Using the free email address you've been given by your Internet Service Provider for your business will ruin your online success. There are few things easier to do that create your own online identity for email.

Just buy a domain name and as your website designer to create you some email accounts. However some people don't do this and use the free email address that they've been given by their ISP.

So which would you call ?

• fredthecomputerbloke@freeserve.myisp.yellow.net or
• fred@ecomputers.com

For the price of a website domain name (usually around £15) you could have the latter.

REMEMBER: You WILL lose your free email address when you change Internet Service Providers

• It's FREE

Disadvantages:

• May be hard to remember
• Could be a long email address
• Usually you'll only get one email address
• You don't have much control of it
