Website Design Costing and Charges

Clarke Design believes that “one size does not fit all”.

Therefore, our website design provides the flexibility required to produce the website best suited to your business and your budget. This is why Clarke Design does not offer "packaged website design solutions" like many other website design companies.

We look at your website design requirements, analyse the work required to produce it and then provide a fixed price quotation to develop your website

Website Design Budget

A limited budget does not mean a limited website design. By carefully adapting your website ideas and the design process we will achieve a stunning website design which looks and feels a great deal more than it costs. We offer great value for money with professional website designs that will ‘wow’ your visitors.

  • Your website design may only cost you hundreds of pounds not thousands.

We know that we are not the cheapest, though we believe that our prices are very competitive with an unrivalled quality that gives you value for money and a stunning website design with impact.

Payment Structure · Staged payments

A staged approach will be used for the website design payments, so that you can budget the expense of producing your new website. Any costs for web hosting will be required at the commencement of the website design process.

1) Initial draft design concept

After a conversation with you about what you want from your website, we'll create an initial draft website design based upon your requirements, brand, preferred colours and a little design magic.

Once the initial draft website design concept, colour scheme and layout have been completed, we will provide this to you for your review and approval.

Upon completion of the initial draft design concept 50% of the total website design fee becomes payable.

2) Interim development

After you approve the initial draft design concept, we'll turn the concept into a working website, adding in your pages, textual content, graphics, videos and photographs.

Once the majority of the website pages have been completed, they will be posted onto a demonstration area for your review and approval.

Upon completion of this interim development 40% of the website design fee becomes payable.

3) Completed website design

The remaining 10% of the website design fee will be payable upon final acceptance of the completed website, usually after it has been put live to the Internet.

Invoices and Payments

Invoices will be raised for any associated charges and after each stage of your website development.

All invoices must be paid within 30 days of invoice date as per our Terms and Conditions.
